Accountant Attache at Motorspeed Courier and Fulfiment Limited

Motorspeed Courier and Fulfillment Limited is offering an Industrial Attachment opportunity to a motivated and detail-oriented student in Accounting or Finance.

The successful candidate will work closely with our finance lead to support daily accounting operations in a startup fulfillment company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in daily bookkeeping and recording of financial transactions
2. Help with preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
3. Support bank reconciliations and petty cash management
4. Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
5. Help prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
6. Support payroll processing and statutory deductions (NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, etc.)
7. File and maintain financial records and documents
8. Any other accounting and finance tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
2. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ZOHO) will be an advantage
4. Strong attention to detail and high level of honesty
5. Ability to work under minimum supervision
6. Good communication and teamwork skills
